From Ducks Lane to International Silver: Goulburn’s Award-Winning Start

After the hurdles of 2023, we knew we needed a fresh start. We got straight to work with the first cab off the rank in our new home was Ducks Lane, a brew we were already incredibly proud of. Now, it is officially an award winner.

We are stoked to share that our "little baby," Ducks Lane, has picked up a Silver Medal at the 2024 International Beer Awards (AIBA). To take home hardware on the international stage with the very first release from our new Goulburn brewery is a feeling we cannot quite put into words.

The Small Brewhouse That Could

This achievement coincides with another big milestone. Our original small-batch brewhouse has officially been moved from Marrickville and installed here in Goulburn. This kit is the heart of our innovation. It is where we experiment, refine, and (as Ducks Lane has proven) create world-class independent beer.

Ramping up this smaller brewhouse allows us to focus on "exciting newness" while staying true to the quality that Stockade Brew Co fans expect. It is a bit of a full-circle moment. We are using the kit that built our reputation to kickstart our new chapter in regional NSW.

Ducks Lane was not just another addition to our lineup of Australian beer. It represented our grit and our commitment to staying an independent beer powerhouse after a challenging year. Winning silver at the AIBA validates all the long hours and the literal heavy lifting of moving a brewery across the state.
